No New Post Today

Hi Folks! Instead of my usual Saturday morning post, I’m taking a much needed break this long holiday weekend to recharge my batteries and spend some time with the kids.

This year we decided not to travel anywhere, so we’re just at home — making cucumber soup, playing board games, and cooking up a very non-traditional Thanksgiving meal.

It’s just exactly the kind of Thanksgiving that I like. Here’s a couple photos!

Who needs turkey on Thanksgiving? There’s pizza to eat!

We followed the Turkey shirt’s advice, and made homemade pizza for our Thanksgiving meal!

The kids love pepperoni pizza, so this was a easy meal to make ’em happy.
Happy and full. Turkey or not, it was a feast!

Mrs. Tako isn’t as big on pepperoni, so I made her a shrimp pizza. She ate like half of this (seriously!). It was really good!

A delicious shrimp pizza. What do you mean you’ve never heard of shrimp pizza? Get with it!

Don’t worry, I’ll be back to my usual posting schedule next week. In the meantime, I’ll be dreaming up new post ideas on saving, investing, dividends, and even new frugal food recipes. See you next week!
